The 1968-2018 Collaborative is chaired by Marya Annette McQuirter, curator of the dc1968project, and is an extension of the work initiated by Bernard Demczuk, historian of Ben's Chili Bowl. We are individuals, institutions and organizations planning events to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the entire year of 1968 in Washington, DC. We come together for monthly meetings and via the cloud to dialogue, share resources and collaborate in order to offer the public a city-wide, robust and accessible commemoration of 1968.
