I am giving the Letitia Woods Brown Memorial Lecture at the 44th Annual Conference on DC History on Thursday, 2 November 2017, 6pm-8pm. The lecture will take place at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, Warner Theater, 1300 Constitution Avenue, NW.
