13 december 1968 34th anniversary of anti-lynching protest

#OTD 13 December 1968 It was the 34th anniversary of Howard University students picketing the National Crime Conference, a primarily white conference held at the all-white DAR Constitution Hall, that refused to declare lynching a national crime.
