#OTD 8 November 1968 The Friends of the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO) and the Citywide Welfare Alliance (CWA) held a benefit party for both organizations at St. Marks Episcopal Church (3rd and A Sts SE) at 8:30pm. It was a “mixed media event” featuring the Lloyd McNeill Quartet and the Georgia State Police rock group.
