OTD-ish 17 July 1968 The National Park Service, through its Summer in the Parks program, installed a history exhibit in Rawlins Park (18th & E Sts NW). It was one of the myriad Summer in the Parks programs and activities that took place throughout the city. Phillis Wheatley was one of the featured individuals in the exhibit.
