#OTD-ish 3 August 1968 #flashbackfriday An unnamed worker takes her lunch break in the "ladies lounge" at the National Institutes of Health. The photograph was taken by white freelance photographer Lorraine W. Gray (1839 Mintwood Place, NW). It is a rare photograph of a working class employee at a federal agency c1968.

The back of the photo states:

"N.I.H. Laundry / The official ladies lounge
This woman is truing to relax a moment before she must return to work when her lunch break ends."
