happy mother's day!

happy mother's day!

On 12 May 1968, Coretta Scott King led a Mother's Day March in Washington, DC, signaling the start of the Poor People's Campaign and the centrality of women's organizing, activism and demand for human rights to freedom struggles.

I would love to find photographs and other ephemera from that march, and to hear stories about the march.

Did you attend this march?  Did you help to organize the march? Did your mother attend or help to organize?
