7 june 1968 & seniors at western hs excited about yearbook, upcoming graduation

#OTD 7 June 1968 Seniors from Western HS (35th & R Sts, NW) were excited about the yearbook and their graduation on 13 June at the school.

According to the Evening Star, there were 410 graduating seniors. Betty Lum was valedictorian and Anne Habberton was salutatorian. Rufus Browning, DC Public Schools assistant superintendent, was the commencement speaker.
